Key Account Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a fast-growing Health, Beauty and Nutrition FMCG organisation for a Key Account Manager to drive new business opportunities in the Grocery and Convenience channel.
Our client is a fast-growing Health, Beauty and Nutrition business.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing key accounts and new business opportunities with the Grocery Channel and other key retailers. The Key Account Manager will utilise their track record in developing business in the channel, to build long term, profitable relationships that meet the organisations' mutual objectives.
The successful candidate will be self-sufficient in building Joint Business plans for both own label and branded projects, and managing all internal stakeholders effectively in order to meet clients' needs, including the planning and organisation of bespoke promotional activity for key accounts. The Key Account Manager will manage gross and net profit expectations within each customer, achieving brand specific and commercial objectives, and furthermore, regularly reporting back, delivering competitor insight and accurate forecasting.
This is a hands on role. In addition to being the go-to contact for the organisation within the channel, the Key Account Manager will attend relevant exhibitions and travel to meetings as required. It will require the successful candidate to be self-motivated, roll up their sleeves and be a team player.
This role is field-based/working from home, with visits to the South Wales Head Office as required.
