The Role:

Within this position, you will be responsible for gaining new profitable business whilst maintaining and growing a number of existing businesses within your territory area.

The successful candidate will retain and grow their area, establishing an active portfolio of regular spending accounts.

Our customer base consists of mostly local independent accounts; including hotels, schools, care homes, academy’s, caterers and restaurants.

Most of the contact will be at head chef and owner level, as well as buyers and procurement managers for certain accounts.

The position offers a generous commission scheme corresponding to the financial growth of the business.

The Applicant:

The successful candidate will be a driven and self-motivated sales professional with experience selling into the foodservice sector.

• Candidates should have experience selling food or have a strong passion for food. Candidates with experience working for a food wholesaler will be highly advantageous.

• Candidates should have proven success in both winning new business as well as growing existing accounts.

• Candidates must be ambitious, resilient and customer focussed with a can-do attitude.
