This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and innovative consumer company as an Export Business Development Manager.
Client Details
Our client is a family run business based in the West Midlands. They hold a strong position in their specialised market and due to continued growth are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their export team.
Description
As the Export Business Development Manager you will be responsible for bringing in new business internationally, our client is well established in Spain and are now wanting to grow their footprint overseas. The Export Business Development Manager will have a big focus on driving business in Europe and potentially America. The role will include frequent travel overseas and a mix of office based and home based work when in the UK.
The working week for this role is Monday to Friday with attendance required at international trade fairs, which may occasionally fall on a weekend.
My client is looking for individuals fluent in German.
Ideally you will have some level of experience in export sales although this isn't essential.
Profile
Key skills and experience required:
- Fluent in German (my client may consider other fluent European languages if you can communicate at a basic level of German as well)
- Based in the Midlands and commutable to the West Midlands office
- Able to travel internationally when required
- Experience in export sales is desirable although not essential
- Proven track record of securing new business is essential
- A tenacious, driven, passionate and enthusiastic approach
- Brilliant rapport and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
