My client are a fast growing food manufacturer, turning over £10m annually, working with some of the UK’s biggest retailers and restaurant brands. They are an exciting family run business with a real foodie culture. As a business they boast an incredibly high staff retention rate and a team of likeminded individuals who are recognised and rewarded for their contribution. Due to their further growth potential they are looking for a National Account Manager to join the manufacturing and processing division.

Role

Reporting into the Head of Sales - as National Account Manager you will take full responsibility for developing profitable and sustainable growth within an agreed portfolio of foodservice and B2B customers. You will work closely with your account portfolio, offering bespoke products to deliver on their needs.

Other accountabilities will include:

• Manage a growing number of key bespoke food accounts, having full P&L responsibility
• Be the voice of your account portfolio within the business – understanding their needs and managing expectations
• Liaising with various internal departments to ensure that customer needs are met
• Support the Head of Sales

Requirements

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you must have a proven track record of successfully managing customers such as Tulip or Cranswick / Greene King or Mitchell & Butler.

You will be passionate about all things food & brand related, have great initiative, and fantastic relationship building skills.

Experience with food / drink processing and product development, along with Foodservice account management is essential.
