The Business Development Executive will be responsible for maximising existing accounts and driving new opportunities in the On Trade channel in the Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and South Wales area. The organisation's On Trade channel consists of a number of licensed premises with continual growth, and as such requires proactive sales professional to join the team.
The Business Development Executive will maximise availability, visibility and ROS in the region. The successful candidate will gain new listings across the portfolio to increase distribution, gain in-house pour status in major categories, and maximise visibility to increase brand awareness. The Business Development Executive will work with staff to educate them on products, and drive advocacy in house, and work with clients to ensure effective solutions are provide and business objectives are met.
This role is field based and requires the Business Development Executive to manage their time accordingly. Due to the nature of the On Trade channel there will be a requirement to work some evenings and on the occasional weekend, for which a day will be offered in lieu.
The successful candidate will:
- Have recent FMCG drinks experience
- Have a track record in Business Development and Account Management, or an On Trade Bar background
- Have a passion for the industry
- Have strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Be a self-starter
- As a desirable, have a WSET qualification
- Based on patch
