This is a great opportunity to join a real leader in its field. As an experienced purchasing professional from a food manufacturing background this role will give you the opportunity to really have an input into the future strategy of the business.

My client is looking for an experience procurement professional to have site procurement responsibility as well as owning a large, complex area of spend within the wider business. As a key member of the site leadership team you will own the procurement within your area maximising the benefits from the Group's scale. Managing a small team, you will set the strategy, ensure robust supplier relationships are in place and look at ways to continuously improve efficiency across the business.

A proven track record in procurement within the food manufacturing sector is essential and you will have ideally developed specific expertise in at least one category area (ideally dairy). Your influencing, negotiation and people management skills will be first class and you will have the gravitas to manage relationships at a senior level both internally and directly with the customers.
