The Role:

Due to the success and growth of our business, we are now recruiting for a Business Development Manager to help us achieve our sales potential.

Within this position, you will be responsible for gaining new profitable business within our target market and negotiating long term agreements.

The target customer base would consist of large independent accounts, as well as groups and chains within foodservice end users and manufacturers.

Most of the contact will be at buyer level but may also include the likes of Business Owners and CEO’s depending on the size of the account.

The position offers a realistic commission scheme corresponding to the financial growth of the business.

The Applicant:

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and driven sales professional who is looking to progress into national accounts.

• Candidates should have proven success in winning new business and experience dealing with larger spending accounts.

• Candidates should either have experience working with food or have a strong passion for food. Applicants with experience working with fresh produce will be highly advantageous.

• Candidates who have sold other products such as catering equipment or catering disposables into the same level of customer will also be considered.

• Candidates must be ambitious, resilient and customer focussed with a strategic mentality.
