Vertical Advantage have partnered with a global, blue chip, market leading FMCG business based in London on an exciting project to help find established planning and project management professionals to work on transforming and upgrading their planning capabilities across multiple regions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business who is going through significant change where you'll be able to make your mark and help shape the creation of the centre of supply chain excellence.
As the Supply Chain Project Manager you will be involved and responsible for bringing key expertise across the planning functions and shape the upcoming strategy to deliver best in class processes.
You responsibilities will include:
- Working with the regional operations and planning teams to deliver on change management
- Analysis internal and external processes and implement improvements
- Influence key stakeholders to adopt the new best in class practises
- Deliver short and long term projects including standardisation of processes across planning and systems implementations
- Using all the appropriate tools and internal resources to manage and deliver projects on time and in budget.
The ideal candidate will have the following
- Graduate calibre or previous working experience
- Broad understanding and experience/expertise across planning, forecasting or transport planning in FMCG environments
- Proven change/project management experience
- Exposure to using supply chain planning systems
- Highly analytical with a good eye for detail
