The Role
Within this role it will be your responsibility to directly manage national and international top Key Accounts for the company within your division. Specialising in disposable consumer goods like lighters and shavers, you will be tasked with planning things strategically so all commercial objectives are reached. It will be your responsibility to make sure all commercial budges are in line with the company sales policy and all financial forecasts are done per customer. Coinciding with this, it is imperative that you ensure there is accurate JDE reporting alongside the budget management you will be doing.
Additionally, you will to be a market specialist and gather information dependent on your customer and your competitors. This information should be relayed and communicated to the marketing team who you will be working alongside as well. As it is a key part of the role that you are constantly developing customer relationships, you will also work alongside the field sales and customer service teams to enhance this.
What you need to possess?
You will need to be an experienced FMCG Sales professional with a track record of success. Being a customer facing role, you will need experience in bringing on and developing key accounts as it is the main bulk of your role. To be ahead of competition, it is imperative that you have a knowhow of the market and your customers. Being ahead of the curve will put you in good stead in this role.
As this role is working on the Top 4 Grocery accounts, it is key you have experience dealing with those accounts and it would be beneficial for yourself if you do have some knowledge about category management as you will be category focused as well.
