The Role
Reporting to the Director, the Head of Channel will be responsible for growing existing home appliances business within the independent distribution channels & national buying groups. In line with business strategy, you'll be expected to:
- Create robust promotional plans
- Create rolling demand plans
- Manage team of Regional Sales Managers
- Report on channels performance to the board
- Negotiate Trading Terms with customers
You will work closely with finance, marketing and the senior leadership team on product launches and commercial strategic decisions. Experience working at this level is essential.
The Person
The selected person is a natural hunter. You polished, articulate and able to demonstrate a track record of building highly effective and successful relationships, ideally within a similar market.
You've have experience of managing people and/or a team, where you've created a sales bonus scheme and KPI's.
