The Role: This Area Sales Manager position is concerned with selling window blinds and the associated products, including poles, tracks and curtains - via the independent retail marketplace, across a large region, acting in a primarily account management capacity. You will be dealing with business owners, buyers and general managers and selling on the quality and availability of their product range which has over 400 SKUs. The key focus is nurturing of accounts and maximising the opportunities available to build a trusting partnership. Full product training is provided.

The Company: Established for over forty years and currently leading the marketplace, our client is a hugely successful supplier of soft furnishings and window blinds, representing some of the world's best-known manufacturers. They hold the majority of market share and now seek a new Area Sales Manager to cover the Scotland, North East of England and North/West/East Yorkshire area.

For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Field sales experience, ideally a product (although not essential)
  • You will come from a business to business background
  • Driven and tenacious candidates with strong negotiation skills are needed


Benefits of this Area Sales Manager role:
  • £25,500 Basic (rising to £26,000 after 6 months)
  • + £5k Commission
