National Account Manager – DIY

Upto £50k basic. 20% bonus and company car

Our Client supplies a diverse range of products to the DIY and Homewares/Housewares channels.

A vacancy exists for a National Account Manager to manage and develop Multiple Retail accounts within the DIY channel.

The job has P & L responsibility and carries its own marketing budget.

Channel background – Candidates for this role should have a background in selling to either the top four grocers, or the DIY channel ( the likes of B & Q, Screwfix, Wickes, Homebase, Robert Dyas, DCS The Range). Our Client will also consider candidates with experience of selling to Argos and / or Halfords only if they have sold the right products.

Candidates can be from either a manufacturer or a distributor provided they have had commercial relationships with the buyers at a fairly senior level.

Location - Home based but in the office once a week ( Midlands ) – living location – starting at Stoke on Trent go east to Nottingham, then south east to Peterborough then south to St Albans, from St Albans follow the M25 in an anti-clockwise direction to Slough and then follow the M4 all the way across to Bristol. From Bristol go due north again and all the way back to Stoke on Trent.
