Established in the summer of 2015 by B9 Beverages and headquartered in New Delhi, India, Bira 91 has quickly become the rage amongst urban millennials owing to its delicious beers, bold identity and a strong draft network.
Driven by a dynamic and energetic global team of over 500 passionate beer lovers, the company now operates two breweries in India and has offices in 9 cities, including New York City. Bira 91 is backed by Silicon Valley's legendary venture capital firm Sequoia. Crafted with the creative urban drinker in mind — someone who likes to have fun and doesn't take life (or beer) too seriously, the brand aims to disrupt the global beer world with 21st century technology and its playful monkey mascot. Bira 91 are now excited to replicate their global success across several UK cities in 2019, including Birmingham.
Bira 91 are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to cover the Birmingham area. Key responsibilities for this role include building distribution and volume of sales across on-premise accounts and off-premise accounts, executing initiatives to grow the brand and increase brand visibility and trial at on-premise and off-premise sales locations, as well as executing marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness outside of points of sale (events, media, etc.). The role will provide plenty of variety and challenge in terms of both customer and product responsibility. 80% - 90% of work time will be field based.
We are looking for graduate-calibre individuals with a minimum of 2 – 3 years previous sales experience gained ideally in an On-Trade / Foodservice environment who can display a genuine passion for the drinks industry. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility that will test your influencing skills from day one. You are adept at quick decision making, in a fast-paced environment, with rapidly changing priorities. To be successful you will need to display a high energy, articulate and persuasive personality, combined with passion and a drive for success.
