Space Planning Manager

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Space Planner to become part of the team with this successful retailer. This is a challenging, yet rewarding role in a hugely successful UK retail business where colleagues are entrusted with a high degree of autonomy in an innovative and fast-paced environment.

Your new role
In this role you will be required to create and manage the space planning layouts for the store portfolio as well as create and develop the space allocation plan for new and refurbished stores. This will be achieved via the compilation of a store profiling system in combination with the creation and maintenance of the planogrammes in conjunction with the Buying and Supply Chain teams.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this challenging and rewarding role, you will need to have experience in space planning at a management level with a multi-site retailer. Furthermore, you will need to be highly numerical and analytical, have well developed report-writing skills, excellent influencing ability and be a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in an informal yet vibrant working environment. It would also be beneficial if you have a sound understanding of supply chain as you will be required to ensure that stores have the optimum stock mix and stock level on a store by store basis.
