The Commercial Sales Development Executive will drive sustainable profitable growth through commercial sales channels, identifying, engaging and secure new B2B revenue streams. The successful candidate will maximise the commercial performance of existing high value commercial customers.

Description

The Commercial Sales Development Executive will:
  • Conduct analysis to identify customer acquisition opportunities and support with the development and delivery of the commercial sales strategy.
  • Engage and secure new customers and achieve associated KPIs/forecast/budget requirements.
  • Develop the customer acquisition pipeline using available insight to maximise sustainable growth.
  • Promote the commercial sales proposition and champion brand values with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attend trade events and promote the commercial sales proposition as required
  • Support the Commercial Sales Manager with infrastructure, strategy and process development
  • Deliver exception customer service, support new business ambitions, enhance retention KPIs through end-to-end order facilitation
  • Support the department's budget, forecast and reporting requirement
  • Work with the Commercial Partnerships team to optimise business-to-business revenue through the outdoor partnership network
  • Re-engage the organisation's historical commercial sales database and reactivate target relationships establishing revenue channels across the retail brand network
  • Support Marketing & Omnichannel content creation to promote the commercial sales proposition.
  • Produce quotations, presentations to customer specifications. (this will include public sector tender submissions)
  • Regularly produce reports for management and leadership teams
  • Conduct regular account review meetings with the assigned and acquired key accounts.


This role is office based near Cirencester.

Profile

The Commercial Sales Development Executive will:
  • Have a proven new business development background
  • Have a proven track record in solution sales
  • Have a good understand of corporate procurement processes
  • Have a demonstrable track record in winning competitive tenders
  • Have budget planning and sales pipeline experience
  • Have managed "Head of" stakeholders
