Senior Business Account Manager – Top 4 Grocer

£56-66k plus car allowance £8k, strong bonus & benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growth orientated branded food business. We are currently recruiting a 12 month maternity cover Senior Business Account Manager appointment managing Top 4 Grocer. The company performance has been strong; with their brands in high growth and very much on trend! Their performance and relationship is in good shape but the challenge is to unlock further growth opportunities.  

In this role you would be fully accountable for a full brand portfolio with this Top 4; managing the relationships; driving forward the customers vision and plan across the cross functional team; full JBP and full P&L accountability. Building on a solid platform and relationships, they are now looking for a dynamic SNAM to play a pivotal role in achieving growth plans and to strategically develop the accounts further.

Whilst a major branded business they are a fairly lean operation and we need individuals that are category-focused and strong leading cross-functional teams to ensure success. Operating within key destination categories this opportunity will allow you to develop and implement account strategies, develop robust customer relationships and build a significant profile within the customer! As a key lead, we are ideally looking for individuals who have held a top grocery role in a branded environment and come with a track-record of success. We are also open to people currently in Retail Buying looking to switch FMCG supplier side or relocators with proven Account Management experience from other developed markets (for example, Australia, NZ, Canada). Ultimately key is a track record of delivery and the ability to drive high levels of customer intimacy.

Our client is recognised as a career employer and whilst this initial role is a contract as a growth orientated employer we would expect other opportunities to arise within the contract period. Whether this turns out to be just a 12 month contract offering rich experiences or is your first role with them and a high profile appointment which could prove to be a stepping stone to Channel Controller, Commercial Strategy or Grocery Customer Director roles!
