As one of the leaders in their sector of the non-food FMCG market place, our client is recruiting due to further expansion and significant investment within the away from home commercial team. As manufacturers of some of the most recognisable household brands within retail they also operate within the growing Foodservice market and you will play a major part in driving key strategic growth initiatives in this area, taking responsibility for some of their most strategic partners as well as putting a real focus on growing and developing new profitable customer relationships.

 

The Role:

  
  • Managing relationships with customers within all of the core Foodservice and B2B channels.

  • Developing New Business within a mixture of end user, wholesaler and distributor customers across multiple sectors.

  • Driving profitable activity and robust business that helps grow the overall market penetration.

  • Promotional Planning.

  • Execution of Marketing Initiatives.


 
The Person:

  
  • The ideal candidate will have experience of working with end user buyers within the AFH/ foodservice market including Hotels, Restaurants, Contract Caterer, Distributor and Public Sector customers.
  • Although managing some existing accounts you will relish the challenge of developing and winning new business.
  • A strong sales background ideally gained within a B2B, foodservice or away from home environment.
  • You will be passionate about the industry - The away from home environment is unique where the boundaries and limits are endless.
  • Your business attitude, autonomy, accountability and empowerment will be evident from day one.
  • Change/Challenge, nothing stands still and there is always an alternative way, the ideal individual will embrace and drive change and challenge. We are looking for people that can make and deliver a step change in performance.
  • Possess the high work ethic, drive and ambition to maximise the full potential of this brand within the market.
  • Able to think outside of the box, you will demonstrate a proven record of high achievement throughout your career to date.
