Area Sales Manager – DIY / Tools

Field Based – N & NE London

Competitive £26,000 + Excellent Bonus + Package

Due to expansion, a highly regarded client of mine is now looking to bring on board a highly ambitious Area Sales Manager to manage the existing distribution in the North & North East London region. They are looking for an incredibly ambitious and resilient person to join their ever growing team and company.

The business a major player in their industry spanning over 100 years since their establishment and grown and developed a highly extensive range of products in their portfolio over that period of time. The company has since expanded across the globe and is now represented in over 150 countries.

The territory that you will be managing is an example of a great opportunity to really establish and make a legacy for yourself within the industry. With an account base already established (95% existing business), you will be required to manage this, but to also approach new customers in the region in order to generate new business and educate dealers and end users of the benefits of the unique and innovative products you will be representing.

The right candidate for this role will have a dynamic and outgoing personality, with an unrelenting thirst and hunger for success. You will be able to market and promote a brand to both dealers and end users, and will also be able to handle rejections and be highly resilient. You will be able to network and build strong relationships with key people in the industry and then build upon those relationships. You will also have a minimum of 2 years field sales experience and be willing to learn about and how to demonstrate power tools.

You will need to be located on the territory to be considered for this position, which resides within the postcodes EC1-4, E1-17, EN1,2,3,9, N1-22, IG1-11.

Personal attributes are the key to the successful candidate in this role, as there will be full training provided about the company, the channel and the product range.
