Commercial Planning Manager – Drinks (Central London)

Our client is a blue-chip branded drinks business based in Central London. On their behalf we are recruiting for a Commercial Planning Manager to join their Off Premise Channel commercial team.


Reporting into the category marketing department, you will deliver pricing & promotion strategy for the Off Premise. Provide analysis and insights that support and drive their profitability whilst delivering base sales and in-store availability. Assist in creating and delivering their long-term commercial strategy and ambitions. You will ultimately be responsible for delivering sustainable profit and volume growth for our client.

You will:

  • Influence at a senior level, across multiple stakeholders to ensure best in class commercial delivery.
  • Act as the commercial consultant across the channel, to give a clear understanding and direction on commercial opportunities.
  • Optimize consumer price and promotions across each channel.
  • Use category data to provide to improve forecasting accuracy, revised estimates and associated financial impacts.

We’re looking for:

  • FMCG/consumer goods experience, ideally in a NAM, Insights, Category or Analyst role. 
  • Exposure to commercial acumen, the P&L and key drivers of business targets.
  • Experience in working with large data sets in a commercial context and converting these in to clear and concise insights and recommendations.
  • Proven communication and presentation skills.
