The business we are representing is an established, premium instantly recognised brand steeped in history and tradition. Exporting to 60 countries worldwide the business has become a highly respected supplier within their respective category and as a result they have achieved significant growth over the years. Following their strong growth, they have created an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the team.


As Business Development Manager you will take direct responsibility for an existing account portfolio which consists of both national and regional key accounts across the Foodservice, Cash & Carry, Wholesale and Independent channels. In addition to maintaining and developing the existing business you will be tasked with identifying new customers and developing trading relationships. Reporting directly into the Sales Manager you will be given a great degree of autonomy to make commercial decisions and build business.


The successful candidate for this position will be a self-motivated sales professional with a track record of developing business within the food industry, ideally with experience of selling into the customer channels mentioned above. It is essential that you have worked with branded food products and can have an appreciation for premium foods. My client is looking for an honest and driven individual who can make a difference in developing the brand.
