Logistics Project Manager
A growing eCommerce business are seeking a strong Logistics professional to take on a Project role for an initial 9 month contract, with scope for extension.
You will be joining a business who have experienced exponential growth over the last three years, establishing themselves as the leading force in their space.
The company's unique business model is highly profitable, whilst demonstratable delivering positive results for communities and society as a whole.
The company's growth is restricted by their current logistics network and system, which requires leadership and investment, leading to this role being created.
The scope of this role will consist primarily of identifying areas for improvement and change within the current logistical architecture, then designing and planning the roll out of new systems and technologies.
This will require consistent stakeholder management across all levels and detailed processes mapping at both a macro and granular level.
You will propose solutions to crisis management and evaluate both internal and external potential solutions, whilst measuring the effectiveness of changes which have already been implemented.
You will have experience in leading and delivering projects using Lean Six Sigma methodology. You will be able to demonstrate strong awareness of common Logistics and Warehousing challenges.
A reasonable level of IT awareness and capability will be strongly beneficial as you can expect to contribute towards shaping the architecture of new systems and processes.
