The Advocate Group are looking to appoint a Senior National Account Manager for an innovative drinks organisation.

My client have experienced unparalleled growth over the last five years and in order to strengthen their team, they are needing you to come in and drive growth on their Tesco account.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Sole focus on delivering explosive sales growth within Tesco/Booker
  • Own all aspects of the Tesco/Booker business
  • Full P&L responsibility
  • Don’t be a cog in the machine, be the machine
  • Full P&L accountability and budget management
  • Ensure a strong working relationship within a relatively small and inclusive team
  • Key will be feeding back grocery insights to the business and deliver the performance course-correcting plans
  • Manage your grocery admin

The candidate will have:

  • Tesco account management responsibility(ies) with the results to demonstrate you are capable of driving business change
  • An expert on this retailer and clearly understand how to navigate your way through it
  • You will understand what great account management looks like and pride yourself to working at the highest level possible at all times
  • You will be very analytical when it comes to analysis reports and insight
  • You will be as comfortable negotiating, challenging and persuading senior stakeholders within Tesco
  • You do what needs to be done
  • Brilliant interpersonal and influencing skills
  • You will be a naturally great sales-person and strong brand ambassador
  • Ambitious and curious individual
  • You like being pushed and stretched to the best of your ability
  • You will have a passion for working within a small, fast paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Own your business/account
  • Able to come in and learn the business inside out at speed
