The Business Development Manager role is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of developing client relationships, and developing an opportunity pipeline for one of the well known names on the highstreet.

My client is a multi channel retailer and one of the biggest names on the highstreet, they are looking for an ambitious , hungry and motivated Business Development Manager to join there high performing sales team based out of there UK head office in Milton Keynes ( Buckinghamshire ).

Description

Business Development Manager :
  • Accountable for the achievement of a personal new business sales and profit target (volume, product mix, margin) within specified industry sectors, contributing to the overall achievement of the B2B Division performance
  • Role will be field based with leads and opportunities being self-generated, but supported by inbound leads where applicable
  • Develop and deliver new business sales strategy, to successfully deliver both sales and profit growth targets
  • Build and maintain great relationships with your new business clients, whom you will retain and manage for a period of 6 months before handing over to the account management team
  • All decisions and planning will be based on sound commercial judgement and data led analysis
  • Execute the planning and delivery of a sales strategy to proactively identify new clients and market sales opportunities
  • Make recommendations for improvement to our products and propositions, supported by feedback and insight captured from clients, competitors and wider audiences












Profile

Business Development Manager :
  • Previous sales experience ideally B2B retail
  • Experience of opening new business
  • Experience of lead generating
  • Great relationship building skills
