Location - North of England (home based)

Salary - 40000 - 60000 + Commission/bonus & benefits

This family owned food manufacturer have experienced rapid growth over the last 5 years with their fantastic range of chilled meat and meat-free products. They have consistently been named in the Fast Track 100 food manufacturing companies and are now stocked in every major supermarket in the UK. This has led to recent investment in a new production facility and a business that now employs over 120 people.

The next phase of growth involves the Foodservice channel. They know this won't be easy. They know the challenges in growing a business within retail are different to those within foodservice, particularly with a branded product. But they really believe in their brand and truly feel that it could be a great addition to menus of pubs, restaurants, hotel groups across the country with the right person steering the ship!

Realistically the role of Commercial Manager is likely to appeal to those with a real passion for business development as you really would be coming in at the beginning of this next phase of growth. You'll need to be involved in the strategy and tactics required to attract some big names in the industry luckily, we know the product lines are in a massive growth market, so you have a great head start.

Ideally, you'll be based in the Midlands or North of England, although this is predominantly a home-based position. You can expect to be paid in the region of 40,000 - 60,000 (or above this is entirely flexible based on experience) with a commission/bonus structure based on new business.

Moreover, you will be getting involved in something from the ground up, the possibility to grow your own division, your own team, work on getting new products out there on to diner's tables! Exciting, right?
