A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a market leading business in the Garden and Pet industry. My client is looking for an up and coming, passionate and dynamic Territory Development Manager to join their ever-growing business, in an industry that currently thriving. The ideal candidate for this role will be based in the Hampshire area, and the role calls for someone that can show a keen interest in the outdoors and the agriculture lifestyle.
My client is a leader in their industry and having made a recent acquisition in 2018, have hugely exciting plans for 2019. As a business, they specialise in premium garden products as well as pet products focused around wildlife. With a vast portfolio of products, the business now looks to expand and grow by bringing in new people with excellent experience and a passion for the company and their vision.
The role centres on the Pet side of the business and will be focused entirely on the South of England. The account base is made up predominantly of Pet shops, Feed Warehouses, Country stores and Farm shops, and you will be required to maintain the growth of the existing accounts, but also to prospect for new business. With an under-utilised area to work with, there is plenty of room to succeed, with the ability to go above and beyond in generating new business opportunities.
This role calls for a passionate and enthusiastic sales person that is willing to work hard, stay away from home when necessary and that is looking for longevity in their next position. This is an opportunity for someone to progress in their sales career or for a hungry agriculture enthusiast looking to get into a sales role.
- Some experience of Sales
- Passionate, Enthusiastic and Hungry to succeed
- Based in the Hampshire area is essential
- Willingness to stay away from home and travel
- Experience within the Pet industry would be desirable
- Territory management would be desirable
- Experience selling into the aforementioned account base would be desirable
- Interest in rural lifestyle and agriculture
