We are delighted to announce a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior National Account Manager (Grocery) to join our team based in Chichester. We are proud as punch that we toil hard in beautiful West Sussex to make each and every chocolate that has our name on it. We need a ‘Sales superstar’ to take on the role of Senior National Account Manager (Grocery) to lead and develop our key grocery customers.

Our vision is to ‘become Britain’s Greatest Little Chocolate Company’. We need someone who can help make this happen as well as being a cultural fit. We take pride in our team happiness and the right person must share our values of being friendly, fun, ethical, flexible, innovative, passionate and an all round good egg.

Are you looking for a new challenge for 2019? Do want to be part of a growing innovative business, enjoy having a bit of fun then we could be just what you are looking for.

If you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within FMCG sales (preferably chocolate), account experience of managing the top 4 groceries, a passion for selling and a love of chocolate then you could be just what we are looking for!

About the Role:

We are looking for an inspired, tenacious and talented individual to be part of the exciting journey to drive distribution over the coming years as we look to rapidly grow both revenues and our relationship with consumers and customers alike in the UK and internationally.

We are working to create a world class brand with strong distribution in the UK and internationally and we need to build a team that matches that ambition. For the right person, this opportunity could be an early career defining moment, being instrumental in distribution gains and the long-term success of the business in the UK.

Given the small but fast growing nature of the team and business, cultural fit and mindset are of huge importance to this role. Structured, but passionate, motivated and action-orientated individuals will do well. As the business is small, but growing fast, a ‘sleeves rolled up’ attitude and approach will be required.

This role will have the overall responsibility for a number of key grocery accounts and will form a key player within the company’s commercial team. Over time, there is the opportunity to take on additional responsibility and to build out the wider grocery team with additional resource as the business accelerates.

The role will have high levels of exposure with an opportunity for this individual to present commercial strategy and activation plans at Board level.

The role is full time and will be based at the company’s manufacturing facilities and headquarters in Chichester. There may be some flexibility on working location, but there will be an expectation that the majority of time will be spent in Chichester, especially during the first 6 months of the role. Ad hoc travel in the UK will be required as appropriate to serve the function of the role.
