Our Client is on the UK’s most innovative Chilled Food Manufacturers, supplying a broad range of Premium Own Label food products to one of the UK’s most demanding Retailers. They are on the front edge of development and innovation, driving the categories they operate within through well thought through, commercially profitable innovation of first to market food products.

Reporting to the Innovation Controller you will lead, manage and develop a large divisional site based, customer aligned NPD team, driving a best in class approach, fostering a culture of buy in to the vision and strategy of the wider Group.

Consistently delivering excellence through NPD, ensuring that all products are compliant with Commercial, Operational, Technical and Customer requirements.

You will be accountable for providing a key link between the development kitchen and the Process team. Working tirelessly to communicate complete comprehension of the business and customer strategies alike.

Supporting the function to challenge and improve products and processes through lean techniques. While working closely with customers, suppliers and internal functions to ensure that projects run to plan, while seeking feedback and support as required to ensure delivery.

You will foster and encourage strong cross functional relationships within both the customer and internally within the wider Group.

Currently working within a similar innovation led chilled category and working within a business with a customer centric partnership approach. You will be looking to use your experience and passion within an ambitious business who are looking to produce best in category food solutions.
