The Company

Healthy Food Brands is a highly successful, privately owned, entrepreneurial, FMCG business specialising in healthy food and drink, health and beauty, sports nutrition and world food categories. With a diverse range of quality products (both company and client-owned brands) and in-house manufacturing facilities, the business has a real passion for brands. Following a sustained period of significant double-digit growth over the past three years and continued investment in both people and manufacturing capability, the company has a clear commitment to growing their business significantly in the UK.

The Role

As a result, they are now looking to appoint a National Account Manager, to take on responsibility for their health and beauty distributed brands, including soaps, shampoos, hair colours and baby products. The successful candidate will be dealing with their current wholesaler network in the health sector and pharmacy channels, as well as online and direct ‘up-market’ high street health and beauty stores across the UK.

Working with existing customers, there will also be a focus on new business, using your extensive contacts to target other areas across the health and beauty channel. Key responsibilities will include, developing collaborative customer relationships, winning distribution gains, delivering NPD execution, negotiating and implementing JBPs and delivery of value/volume/profit targets.

About You

Of graduate calibre, you possess strong wholesaler experience and have built a strong network within the health sector, pharmacy and online/high street health and beauty stores. This role requires a highly motivated, self-starter with excellent communicative skills, strong commercial acumen and a hands-on approach — you need to be just as skilled at ‘hunting’ for new business across this channel as you are at ‘farming’ existing customers. You will need to demonstrate plenty of passion, energy and enthusiasm to be seriously considered.

If you think you’ve got what it takes and are ultimately keen to develop a career with this entrepreneurial, growing FMCG company, please apply below or email Maria at mariam@smithcarey.co.uk quoting reference MM/2032, including full details of your current benefits package details.

Alternatively, please call Maria Murphy for an initial confidential discussion on 0774 518 4922.

Closing date for applications: 25th January 2019
