Buying Account Manager Food – up to £45,000 plus package – East Yorkshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen within a fast paced successful retail client who is seeking a Buying Account Manager food to join their dynamic and expanding team in East Yorkshire to assist with an increase in work force.

The successful buying account manager must have demonstrable experience of food buying gained from a food retailer or FMCG national account management experience. The successful Buying Account Manager will manage a designated product category and will provide a world class food buying service that meets the needs of the company and the customers. You will have a responsibility to understand the needs of your customers and select products on their behalf. Managing category reviews you will recommend cost saving initiatives and present pricing and market analysis with recommendations You will be someone who is currently working in a food buying role within a fast paced organisation or you maybe working within a sales role and consider a move into buying. In addition you will demonstrate a passion for trading and a flair for commerciality

Skills: buying skills, UK RETAIL experience, account management, Commercial Management, category management, Marketing Principles, Negotiation and influencing skills
