Looking for a second jobber who is ambitious to develop an export/international career & business plan and sales strategy that will deliver both profit and growth across Distributors through to retailers.  Currently export sales are weighted towards the USA and Australia however we continue to expand within Europe and other markets.  

We like to keep things simple – so we want an activity driven, authentic individual with real drive and ambition looking to prove themselves in a growing business.  This role is responsible for growing current business and proactively securing new business. There will be travel to meet customers but you must have the export knowledge that will enable you to manage customers remotely.

Your key performance indicators will include developing and delivering on sales targets and joint marketing strategies. You will drive sales and manage the trade promotional spend for each market, develop retailer category plans ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy.

The ideal candidate will be an effective and competent salesperson from an FMCG food background ideally with experience of working with USA and/or Australian markets. Some knowledge of European retailers and distributors would be advantageous. This will have provided you with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of distributor management. An ability to negotiate at a range of customer levels backed up with a grasp of category management is essential.

Most importantly, you must possess an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial attitude that can drive business forward backed up with a passion for the best quality food.  As a close knit team we need someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and has a can-do attitude.
