Key Account Manager | Fresh Produce | Home Based
We are currently working with a well regarded, multi-faceted business who supply into the Horticultural and Fresh Produce sectors. Based in the South of the country, they are currently looking for a Key Account Manager to help them with their varied portfolio of customers. They have highlighted that they have a number of core businesses which warrant having more direct contact and are looking for someone with a good understanding of the fresh produce (ideally salads) sector.
You will be working closely with some of their bigger customers, ensuring that their varied needs are managed appropriately and effectively.
The role will be more of a commercially focussed role, but it will help you to have a broader understanding of the industry.
Working closely with the Sales Director to ensure the business' strategy is put to best effect.
You will be commercially focussed but possess a good awareness of the other areas involved in produce growing and marketing.
You will be a good self starter and won't need someone pushing you to get things done. You will need to be able to work well autonomously as well as part of a wider team.
Good presentation and communication skills will be essential. You will be dealing with some of the businesses largest accounts so this will have a very big impact.
