HEAD OF SALES – FMCG
£55,000 - £65,000 + BONUS + MOBILE + LAPTOP + HEALTHCARE + PENSION + 25 DAYS HOLS + BHs
My client is a bespoke FMCG food business based in London. The role we are recruiting for is the newly created role of Head of Sales to play an integral part to the aggressive growth plans in place.
The Role
- 80% of your role will be strategic man-management and 20% account management/business development
- P&L responsibility of circa £10million
- Leading a team of 5
- Input strategically to the fast-growing Foodservice arms of the business
- To put in place meetings, conversations and strategies to further grow the national Retail side of the business
- Conduct coaching and development of the team
- To continually review the performance of the team to ensure individuals continue to demonstrate the Company’s core values and leadership traits positively.
- To ensure all members of the team consistently achieve and exceed their given targets.
- To run regular, planned periodic review meetings at both team and individual level with team.
- Report directly into the MD on departmental performance
The Candidate
- You must come with an FMCG Sales background at a Senior level – ideally within both Foodservice and Retail
- You must have disciplined Sales Man-Management experience
- You will have strong analytical and forecasting skills
- Good coach and facilitator
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain
- You will be very strong at strategic planning
