Job Details

Title: Regional Sales Manager – Premium Spirits  

Location: Scotland

Salary: £50k-£55k plus car, bonus, healthcare and pension

Our client is one of the UK’s largest and most attractive spirits businesses. With a strong portfolio of premium brands they have grown consistently year on year and have identified key areas of significant growth for 2019 with large investment already set aside.

This Regional Sales Manager role will be looking after and managing the Scotland field based team. With 5 direct reports the core elements of this positon will be using managerial experience and commercial acumen. This person must be cross functional, adaptable and willing to roll their sleeves up for the overall benefit of the team. Your week could be very contrasting and whilst this isn’t directly managing any accounts, you may still find your self-hands on with a customer should an issue arise. You will be presenting to senior stakeholders internally, speaking with industry specialists/connoisseurs, day to day team management offering commercial insight and guidance.

Experience required:

  • At least 3-4 years regional or national field sales experience
  • Must have FMCG experience, preferably within the BW&S industry.
  • Managerial experience is a must – need to have managed a field based team.
  • Commercially strong – you will be managing a high performing team who will challenge you daily.
  • Track record of success and achievements.
  • Must be a confident individual with a positive outlook.
  • Have a genuine passion for the BW&S industry.

The successful candidate will currently be working within the relevant industry and has a strong understanding of National Accounts. Your experience & approach are key to the success of this role.
