We are looking for a confident Account Manager with 3+ years of experience managing well-known Key or National Retailers within the home, gift, beauty, tech or lifestyle products industry.

You will be ready for your next challenge where you will join an amazing company in a brand-new position where you will identify new opportunities by reaching out to your network of buying contacts, making new contacts, and essentially developing new business for the team.

A typical day as Account Manager will include:

  • Creating and pro-actively managing an active sales pipeline of leads, prospects & fully qualified opportunities.
  • Providing timely and accurate business forecasts.
  • Meeting and exceeding set targets, ensuring profitability for the business.
  • Nurturing new business and managing the handover to Account Managers, ensuring this is a collaborative process.
  • Based on a knowledge of current business capabilities and trends in the wider market, you will spot the opportunities that the company may be missing and follow up on these.
  • Managing your critical path process. You will be responsible for the initial management of product selection, samples, quotations and approval processes.
  • Attending trade shows, securing opportunities for new business and actively following up on any leads.

The successful Account Manager will have the following qualities:

  • 3+ years of experience of managing key and National Accounts within a consumer product environment.
  • Experience of winning new business from scratch.
  • Experience of working on own-brand development projects would be ideal but not essential.
  • Proven track record of hitting targets in a sales environment.
  • Prior client-facing experience, including leading meetings.
  • Experience in the gift / tech / homeware / beauty / fashion market.
