The role as Business Development Manager is a newly created position at a time of expansion across the UK commercial team for my market leading client. The position will specialise in the Cosmetics category driving product testing in this sector working with a number of Beauty & Cosmetic manufacturers.

Our client are global market leader within a number of market sectors including cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food & beverage. This is an exciting position to join at a time of UK expansion with a key focus on the cosmetics business.

Description

The role as Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following tasks;
  • Drive product testing across the UK beauty & cosmetics sector
  • Work with a number of cosmetic manufacturers & retailers within this service area
  • Become the face of the business across the UK in this channel
  • Prospect sales & new business opportunity in a strategic manner
  • Attend trade fairs & networking events to market the UK business
  • enhance customer relationships, carry out regular reviews & drive long term values


Profile

The successful Business Development Manager will have the following experience;
  • Knowledge and vast experience working with beauty/cosmetics manufacturers
  • Technical experience within product development or testing
  • National Account/Business Development experience
  • Strong ability to negotiate & close deals
  • Happy to travel across the UK
  • Scientific background would be preferred although not required
  • Degree educated
