My client is a market leading promotional marketing agency who work with a wide range of FMCG businesses and brands. They have a global footprint with 32 office across the globe and are continually growing there UK head office is based in Borehamwood Hertfordshire.

Description

Account Director - Health & Beauty
  • Responsible for the annual business planning process for the account, setting sales and profit targets.
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities with the client to increase sales turnover and profit for the account
  • Lead the day to day activities of .... with the client, throughout the sales and product development stages, and secure PO.
  • Effectively manage the pitch process for new programmes, creating insightful and compelling solutions for the client.
  • Ensure that responses are managed in a timely manner.
  • Maximise sales and profitability of each line ongoing
  • Management of the creative process with the design team for given projects to ensure team are briefed correctly, and deadlines are met.
  • Manage the product development and approvals process according to the client's standard procedures.
  • Effective control of live orders and status reporting to ensure that the client is kept updated with progress and issues are handled in a positive manner - working alongside Operations team.






Profile

Account Director - Health & Beauty
  • French speaker
  • Preferably with previous experience with the Health & Beauty category.
  • Clear communication (oral & written) within team - reporting to General Manager
  • Ability to plan, organise & prioritise all forms of administration (as detailed in Operations Manual) and individual workload.
  • Monitor multiple projects.
  • Pro-active creative development of products and presentations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Business understanding of Sales & Profit / P&L statements, good level of numeracy.
  • Set and achieve Personal Sales Targets and overall contribution to company sales targets.
  • Ability to create long term strategies for growth of existing clients and new business development.
  • Ability to develop & inspire others in their team and across the business as a whole.
  • Presentation skills essential.
  • Ensure that all Quality Control standards are adhered to (as detailed in Operations Manual)
  • Take an active interest in their own self development.
  • IT Literate - Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail is critical - ability to produce concise, accurate and clear briefs / correspondence / administration.
