The Advocate Group are looking to appoint a National Field Sales Manager at an ambitious and aggressively growing premium alcoholic drinks business. Our client is one of the top importer and distributors of their category in the UK and around the globe. Key Responsibilities

  • Create a collaborative, high performing team culture to drive your team of 11
  • Implement a strategic plan to achieve agreed targets
  • Coach and train the team to achieve the best possible customer relationships and sales, utilising your own experience
  • Ensure you manage the workload of not only yourself, but your team too to ensure maximum activity across all regions
  • Implement 1-2-1 coaching to stretch your team performance
  • Assist the field sales team in customer meetings when appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with all other teams in the business, finding and solving solutions together

Essential Skills

  • Independent worker
  • Strong management skills
  • Ideally an FMCG drinks background but not essential
  • Confident to challenge and ultimately drive performance from your team
  • Inspirational leader who has experience of driving a team
  • A good understanding of the full sales process in the drinks industry
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Able to take feedback with a solutions driven approach
  • Experience of utilising CRMs to grow sales figures – new CRM currently been implemented
