Excellent opportunity to join a market leading personal care business , currently looking to add a Junior National Account Manager - Boots to there highly successful sales team.

Junior National Account Manager - Boots
  • Support the BAM to achieve budgeted sales and gross margin profit targets in specific major accounts within A&P budgets and authorised pricing levels.
  • Network within accounts with appropriate contacts to ensure efficient day to day running of the account
  • Manage promotional activity under BAM supervision by owning the planning, delivery and post evaluation of promotions and recommending any improvements to deliver better return on future promotional investment.
  • Attend external account meetings as and when required with the BAM to build working relationships
  • Develop expertise in Account Reporting Systems E.g. Boots Tonic/RSI; by running weekly reports to help support decision
  • Promote a culture of excellence through continuous improvement in all aspects of the job
  • Undertake field visits as required to investigate specific store issues and monitor in-store activity.
  • Provide Accurate Forecasts to the business and ensure effective communication with Demand Planning and Brand team to deliver agreed SOP, service level & working capital targets
  • Support the BAM to develop KPI's and metrics for key accounts to produce volume, value, profit, share, distribution, ranging, pricing, space and display.


Junior National Account Manager - Boots
  • Graduate or equivalent in a business related subject (desirable)
  • English and Maths (GCSE C level or above) or equivalent
  • Commercial experience (Sales, Buying, Marketing, Category Development) within an FMCG environment.
  • Demonstrable achievements and experience in a Sales Executive or Business Account Executive role in a similar environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and achieving deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of UK Trade Environment (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of retailer systems e.g. Tesco Retail Link (preferred).
