THE ROLE

This is a substantial, commercial career-developing opportunity to take full strategic control of a dynamic, fast-growing global company that’s also a UK household brand leader. It enjoys huge marketing investment and is high up on the healthy eating agenda of today’s discerning consumers.

In order to further develop the brand’s potential and meet the continuing demands of their brand-leading position in the fast-growing ‘dairy alternative’ category, you will be responsible for providing further consumer insight-led strategic development across the ‘buy and sell’ trading structure of their no.1 European-performing customer, Tesco.

Additional responsibilities will include both direct line management and leading the cross-functional co-ordination of customer marketing, category management, supply chain and marketing teams as well as P&L management.

THE CANDIDATE

Having achieved a progressive career development track record within a combination of blue chip and challenger brand companies, you have recent experience of managing Tesco and are able to articulate their trading strategies, ways of working and key stakeholder contacts up to senior buying or Category Director level. You have well-honed, major customer strategy development skills, together with the ability to influence at all management levels with very senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

Needless to say, you will require highly-polished business planning, negotiation, insight-led category management and customer relationship skills, together with the drive and ambition to further achieve your future business and personal career development goals.

So with the new year beckoning, ’grasp the career nettle’ and apply for this high profile HEAD OF GROCERY - TESCO opportunity now!
