Job Details
Ignata FMCG are looking for a Category Development Executive to join a global FMCG manufacturer based in Berkshire on a 12-month FTC. If you’re looking to build a career in category management and want to gain experience working with grocery customers, this is a fantastic opportunity for you!
The Company:
Our client is a leading global manufacturer of consumer health products, boasting a portfolio of instantly recognisable brands. At their offices in Berkshire, they provide an innovative, progressive, and collaborative work environment.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be a part of the Category Development team, working on several grocery accounts across multiple categories. You will use category expertise to turn consumer data into actionable insights and recommendations, working cross-functionally with sales teams to drive category growth. Building and sustaining working relationships with retail partners is a key aspect of the role.
The Ideal Candidate:
You will have experience in a similar role within the FMCG, pharmaceuticals or retail industries. With excellent knowledge of the UK market, you will be comfortable in a customer-facing role. The ability to manipulate data in order to draw insight and produce recommendations is essential for this position, and proficiency in shopper insights software (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, dunnhumby) is desirable.
