Job Details
A major FMCG brand owner are seeking an accomplished Supply Chain professional to take on a varied planning role for an initial 12-month contract.
The Organisation
You will be working for an international, established FMCG brand owner, operating on a global remit, manufacturing and distribution some of the best loved brands in the UK consumer space.
The business has a robust Supply Chain system, founded on reliable data and a well-maintained ERP system. The company are prepared for changes to the grocery landscape over the next 12 months and there has been good contingency planning in place.
You can expect to work from bright modern offices, with smart and supportive colleagues.
The Role
Covering both Demand and Supply Planning, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate forecasts, tracking abnormalities and seasonal peaks.
You will be working with two major brands in the portfolio, requiring you to maintain responsive communications with all major internal stakeholders. This will involve correspondence with factories, and may require infrequent visits to sites in other parts of the UK.
The Person
You have strong Supply Chain experience in a corporate FMCG environment. Your experience will be weighted towards Supply Planning or Demand Planning or both. You will be able to demonstrate an awareness of promotion cycles and New Product Introduction phasing.
Candidates with experience working in SAP will be preferred.
