The main purpose of the job is to develop and nurture key relationships to help build the company's presence in Europe.

Reporting directly to the International Director, the successful International Sales Manager will identify and initiate discussions with overseas distributors and supermarkets to open opportunities.

Client Details

My client are crusading, dynamic and fast growing company who have a strong presence in healthy food shops. The are now looking to expand their range into the retail / wholesale channels worldwide.


The responsibilities of the International Sales Manager are;

  • Assist the international director with building a detailed three-year plan
  • Identify and initiate discussions with overseas distributors and supermarkets
  • Prepare and manage international critical paths from start to finish including managing internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders
  • Lead contract and pricing negotiations with distributors and supermarkets
  • Manage and nurture our relationship with international distributors and supermarkets
  • Assist with developing an international supply chain strategy
  • Ensure brand and store compliance in overseas markets
  • Market research in countries of responsibility and regular updates on competitors, pricing, promotions, NPD and more
  • Work closely with marketing to develop international marketing campaigns
  • Responsible for managing and representing the itsu brand at all overseas trade shows
  • Preparing monthly sales forecasts
  • Providing ad hoc support to the wider team


The successful International Sales Manager will have;

  • International sales experience required with +4 years' experience
  • Good organisation skills and ability to communicate effectively [verbally and in writing]
  • Language skills are desired
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal management guidance or supervision
  • The energy and self-motivation to work within a rapidly growing business that is constantly evolving with changing priorities
  • An open-minded approach to the role and a flexible, can do, friendly attitude

Job Offer

Basic salary £50,000 - £60,000
