Basic Salary £27,000 - £34,000 depending upon experience, commission structure in place with realistic first year earnings £50k +, £2,400 guaranteed commission in first 6 months, £1,000 a year lunch allowance, Fully expensed company car, mobile phone, laptop, full private healthcare for you and your family, life assurance, pension scheme + other corporate benefits

Location: This a field-based position covering Scotland. Ideally we are looking for candidates based in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Sterling, Perth or Dundee

What will you be doing?
  • We are a globally recognised household name and due to expansion now looking to appoint another Business Development Manager in Scotland 
  • As a field-based sales professional, you will be focused on new business generation selling our globally recognised brand of beverage equipment, namely Vending and office coffee Machines 
  • You will be approaching SME’s and managing the sales process from an initial cold call, consultation, proposal delivery, close and implementation – customers could be Universities, Hospitals, leisure centres, call centres, warehouses, offices, serviced offices, contract caterers, golf courses, shopping centres, board room facilities, Car Showrooms, staff rooms (Retail groups etc) 
  • You will also account manage key accounts already on patch and work through strategic partnership network agreements to win new business. 
  • As an autonomous business development manager, you will be expected to manage your own diary, organise your own appointments and ideally take ownership for your territory although you will be supported by a highly trained internal telesales team.
  • As part of a Sales team you will have support, guidance and outstanding training and development however you must also have the ability and motivation to work alone and manage your geographical location 

The Applicant:
  • Ideally sales candidates that have a commercial background in the beverage equipment / vending industry would be highly advantageous 
  • Please only apply if you have a solid commercial background as a Business to Business Field based sales professional
  • Candidates with sales experience selling a contracted service such as Washroom Solutions, Security Services, Capital Equipment, Photocopiers, Office Supplies or Advertising in the capacity of a Field Sales Executive, Territory Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Area Sales Executive, Field Sales, Regional Sales or Business Development Executive
