The Role

This role is a dynamic one, covering the account management of the company’s prime customers but also leading the design of shopper marketing programmes and leading category recommendations. The specifics of this role are:

  • Having full P&L of company’s top 4 grocery accounts
  • Developing perceptive and meaningful relationships with customer counterparts across multiple categories
  • Creating and negotiating JBPs to continue to increase customer and consumer engagement
  • Ownership of SKU level forecasting
  • Leading by example for one National Account Executive who will be providing support on the key grocery accounts and working independently on smaller high street accounts
  • Assisting in the building and managing of the internship programme
  • Interpreting and utilising data to maximise customer and category efficiency
  • Influencing availability, compliance and promotion management within the customer base
  • Being an ambassador for the company ethos of ambition, adaptability and diligence

The Candidate

The candidate who is right for this opportunity will be able to personify and embody the ambition of the company and will be able to adapt to the rigours of a family owned business. The specific skills, experience and attitudes that the right candidate will need are:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within FMCG Sales
  • Experience of working within the grocery channel either at Executive or Manager level
  • Previous involvement with category and marketing processes
  • A High level of competency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively analyse data sets
  • A willingness to think independently and work collaboratively to achieve company targets
  • An ambition to progress within the company
  • Readiness to work cross-functionally
  • Flexibility to adjust to the shifting nature of the marketplace and company targets
