A market leading Health Food and Drinks company that are expanding from strength to strength with their heavy emphasis on getting their customers to really look after their bodies and take care of their health. With leading products within the chilled goods department, they continue to revolutionise how healthy goods are seen and consumed and aim to expand even further by enhancing their product range for all.
The Role
You will be responsible for the full P&L of two major national accounts for the company and lead all aspects of driving growth for each of them. Alongside that it will be very strategic in how you deliver that growth, so it will be part of your role to make sure that the growth strategy delivers and you have a supreme focus on NPD. This NPD focus would mean it is your responsibility to launch plans for the new range of company products – being the voice for the company when approaching the customers will also tie into this.
You will also work alongside the Marketing and Supply Chain teams to develop profitability of the new lines as well as the existing lines. Coinciding with this it will be key to remain and manage your budgets and provide forecasts for your accounts. As this is a very customer orientated role, you will work alongside the Sales Controller and make sure proposals are delivered to your customers to a high standard. Lastly, you will hold regular face to face meetings with the retailer buying teams as they are a key part of your role as well.
What you need to possess?
It is essential that the person in this role has a significant amount of experience preferably within a high profile brand in a customer facing role. Within this role, you should have proven delivery of your sales targets and high levels of internal stakeholder management as it is key to this role. With a high level of customer interaction, you would ideally have dealings negotiating at a senior level and as well as a good level of financial acumen.
Being a good relationship builder with good analytical skills will benefit you in this role as it would be a large part of your success. An assertive but compassionate person would thrive in this role and the ideal candidate will combine that with the drive of a results based individual. Lastly, someone who has an engaged and positive approach would be ideal as this is a high performing but rewarding role.
