Head of Sales/Sales Director (Italian Speaking) – Continental Food Products

£45-70,000 Basic (inc. Car Allowance) + Bonus & Benefits

Our Client is a rapidly expanding supplier of a broad portfolio of Continental Food products. Their products are sold in the main to the End User HORECA channel and the Company is building on their current success by investing in new IT infrastructure systems as well as a new Head of Sales/Sales Director to spearhead their sales team and overall sales strategy.

The role is responsible for managing the Company’s field based sales team as well as setting, implementing & execution the Company’s sales strategy moving forward.

Candidates for this role must be Senior Sales Managers with a track record of successfully working with End User Foodservice accounts, particularly the Restaurant channel.

The job holder must also be capable of taking a leadership position, not only on a day to day basis with the individual sales people, but also take charge of the company’s entire sales strategy. They will need to be able to advise the directors what needs doing to achieve their company goals and provide a step by step plan involving the basic disciplines they will need to deliver the plan. This is likely to be a 100% man management role, but if the job holder did want to take on some personal accounts that would be more than acceptable.

Man management experience is important with a track record of motivating & developing field based salespeople.

The jobholder must also be an Italian speaker ( this is essential ).

Living location – candidates should live in or around the London area.
