Area Sales Manager – Garden / DIY
Field Based – North East
Up to £30,000 basic salary + Package
An exciting opportunity to work with a brilliant existing client of mine has recently become available. My client is looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to join their exciting and ever-expanding business in the Garden / DIY industry. The right candidate will be based in the North East area and will have some experience managing the Northern territory.
My Client is a well-established, family run, independently owned business that has been trading for over 30 years within the consumer goods industry. With their unique and highly diverse product range, they have recently expanded their remit to now trade in 15 countries worldwide with visions of growing that number in 2019.
This role will focus mainly around the wholesale and distribution channel, so experience with this would be useful to have. You will manage the full portfolio of products the business has to offer and you will be required to effectively manage the territory in order to increase turnover of your account base. You will be required to manage the existing accounts as well as prospect for new business, so experience and ability to turn leads into new business would be ideal.
The desired location for this candidate would be in the North East and surrounding area. This will give you the best opportunity to effectively work the territory which spans from Hull, all the way up to the Scottish borders, and will include some accounts in Scotland.
