Senior Propositions Manager - Coventry

Your new role

The role holder has responsibility for the strategic development, implementation and ongoing management of the Customer Proposition. Key to this is the Technology Proposition and the business support elements of the.
The delivery of the key propositions requires the management of relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and providing a level of escalations for any queries or issues that require resolution from the team.

Direct line management of a team of nine (currently) focused on the tasks of; product management, support and training proposition development, customers training support, proposition development support and the deployment of solutions to almost 2000 Third Party Customers.

This will be a senior role within the Customer Development team. The person will support setting the strategic direction for the business and the focus of the propositions team. Key to this role will be ongoing upward management of the Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

 To support and drive the propositions roadmap for the team
 Support and develop individuals within the team to grow and deliver propositions effectively
 To manage the technology proposition to ensure it continues to meet all regulatory and commercial requirements for Third Party Customers
 To identify the development requirements of the Technology Proposition and Business Support Proposition to deliver profitable growth in line with the functional and wider business strategy
 Accountable for the implementation and delivery of agreed initiatives that strengthen the proposition to Third Party Customers
 Manage a diverse set of internal and external relationships, ensuring agreed SLAs are delivered to create a high quality customer experience; holding internal and external providers to account when these are not achieved
 Lead the negotiation and internal governance processes to renew and review third party contracts and providers supporting the delivery of the customer experience
 Regular reporting Vs a set of agreed KPIs for each element of the proposition, developing and agreeing Service Improvement Plans with relevant stakeholders where these are not being met
 Lead the proposition element of responses to customer tenders and RFPs
 Accountable for the delivery of a high standard of customer service experience for Technology products & propositions and to improve the Net Promoter Score for these Areas
 Build and manager close working relationships with the 'Heads of' the different Third Party sales channels
 Leading and developing colleagues within the Technology Proposition Team
 Support the wider Third Party Customer Development Team contributing to and leading the delivery of initiatives that fall outside the scope of Technology and Business Support where needed

What you'll need to succeed

 In depth understanding of markets, technology and business drivers, with a clear understanding of stakeholder requirements
 Experience in developing, designing and implementation of new propositions
 Lifecycle management of existing propositions
 Strong commercial acumen, financial skills, analytical skills and creativity are critical, with the capability to engage at a senior level within and outside the company.
 People management skills, both for direct and virtual teams.
 Strong supplier management skills
 Good budget and programme management skills
 Understanding of using customer insight and experience to develop compelling service and product propositions
