Due to recent expansion, this highly successful retail focused business is looking to add an International Business Development Manager to their team. With impressive turnover and a rich heritage, this organisation can offer you a superb platform to drive your career forward.
THE ROLE: As an International Business Development Manager, you be responsible for selling branded British groceries into Retailers across the Africa regions. You will be responsible for overseeing 3 customer service advisors who will largely take care of your admin. 50% of your time will be spent managing existing business and 50% identifying new retail partners. You will sell largely direct to retail as well as managing partner distributors and will hold responsibility over P&L and JBP with accounts.
THE PERSON: This is an ideal role for someone currently in the FMCG sector who doesn't have Export experience but would relish the opportunity to gain Export and P&L exposure. You will need to have FMCG experience, ideally account managing more than small independent accounts but you don't need prior P&L responsibility. A willingness to travel is key, you will be in market on average 10 days per month. They seek candidates who are strong negotiators, have a worldly vision, highly motivated and are genuinely motivated to develop their career.
THE PACKAGE FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
- Basic: £38,000 - £43,000
- Bonus: 20%
- Car: Allowance
