Role:
Working as part of the senior management team, you will lead the Engineering Team, ensuring the function supports and enhances delivery of the business plan.
This role requires the successful Engineering Manager to continually develop and improve the sites asset base. This will be delivered through design, construction and installation of good manufacturing processes. You will work alongside the General Manager to create an engineering strategy which will help the site to achieve its strategic goals whilst ensuring compliance with legislative standards.
Requirements:
This role requires an individual who is able to demonstrate proven leadership abilities and a strong desire to promote continuous improvement and the sharing of best practice. You will influence a sustainable manufacturing process, ensuring the application of the best available technology to encourage automation.
Requirements of the role include:
• Either a HND or degree with an Engineering focus
• Previous experience working within manufacturing - ideally food
• Strong project management skills with experience of Lean and continuous improvement
